The Wood Products Group is a not-for-profit association with a mandate to represent, promote, and advance the interests of specialty and value-added wood-products companies in Atlantic Canada. Our goal is a simple one: to create business advantages for our members.

The forest industry, a cornerstone of Atlantic Canada's economy for more than two centuries, is in a period of change that will leave it permanently transformed. Companies that prosper will be those able to compete in global markets for high-value finished and semi-finished products. The Wood Products Group serves as a linkage among a wide network of member companies, their customers and suppliers, financial services companies, R&D labs, training agencies, transportation companies, and federal and provincial governments.

The Group promotes strategic supply and marketing partnerships among its members, enabling them to jointly pursue business opportunities too large to carry out alone.
