Conferences and Plant Tours
Several times each year the Group organizes tours of wood-product manufacturing
plants. Often these are in conjunction with the Annual General Meeting, a
two-day event focusing on topics relevant to members' businesses. Past
conferences have examined issues in export marketing, finance, technology, and
strategic alliances.
Wood Products Group conferences, AGMs, and quarterly meetings are the best time
and place for members to meet customers, suppliers, and their industry
colleagues. Most members say that networking at our conferences ranks among the
most valuable benefits of membership.
Through the WPG Web Portal, the Group is able to organize conferences and other
events and clinics completely online, including scheduling, registration, and
payment. This means interested parties can more easily find events of
interest, attain the desired information, register, and pay (if applicable) all
in one user-friendly area.
